Yep! The adorable, has all the luck, was-she-or-wasn't-she-with Apollo-behind-the-scenes-Julianne Hough! They make a cute pair! (Have you heard her singing yet? Click the link above to listen. She's Country with a capital C.)
Julianne's brother, who I personally find a little odd, will be paired with Brooke Burke, who I also find odd, so in that sense, I suppose they make a decent pair.
Who else? Not anyone too great. Except I do adore Misty May-Treanor after my two week-long love affair with Olympic volleyball, I mean, she is amazing. She will paired with icky Maksim, poor girl.
In perhaps the only other interesting piece of
DWTS news is that Lacey Schwimmer, formally of my favorite dancing show, So You Think You Can Dance, (and so I hear, dating AI winner David Cook!!!) will be one of the new "professional" dancers paired up with N'Sync-er Lance Bass. Other people dancing include Susan Lucci from All My Children and ick ick icky Kim Kardashian. I've probably used the word icky too much today, huh? American Idol is adding a fourth judge for the next season! No, they aren't replacing Paula (should they?) but another woman is joining the team and her name is Kara DioGuardi. Huh you ask? Well while we may not know her name, you know her work. She is a songwriter and producer who has worked with a few Idols before: namely Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, David Cook, David A., Clay and others. Plus, she's also written tracks for the Jonas Brothers, Britney, Gwen Stefani, Celine Dion, Natasha Bedingfield, both Simpson girls and Lindsay. Um, Kara, you are MY new idol, what an awesome pedigree. I betcha she adds A LOT of something-new and boy does that show need it. Need some links? Sure you do.

SURVIVOR
New season of Survivor starts September 25th. It's called Survivor: Gabon - Earth's Last Eden. Where is Gabon you ask? It's a country in west central Africa sharing borders with Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, Republic of the Congo and the Gulf of Guinea. I got that from Wikipedia, sadly while I knew it was in Africa, I didn't really know-know. They speak French in the cities, but I don't think the survivors will be in the city, if you know what I mean. The cast will be announced any day now. What - you don't know this show? Of course you don't! It hasn't aired. Yet. Now does this sound like a good idea or a boring one? Lifetime TV is launching a cooking show that features a different girl and her mom cooking together each week. I'm not sold... could be ok... or not. What do you think? ... meh
