You probably never saw Sex and the City as it's a bit well, OLD. But news has come that the writer who originally penned the book that bore the series is writing a young adult book about Carrie... when she was in HIGH SCHOOL. Yep, it's like a prequel and it's due out next year. Those could be alright because Candice Bushnell, the writer, is a real, well writer. But what about Lauren Conrad's new 3-book deal? The girl can't even put together three sentences on the Hills, how is she gonna write three books?
New season of Degrassi: The Next Generation starts October 10th with an hour long ep. To get ready for the new season, the N will air Get Ready for Degrassi, a marathon which will include every single episode ever of the series as well as sneak peeks of the new season, beginning Friday October 3 at 3 pm through Monday, October 6 at 9 am, and weekdays 3 pm - 6 pm, with an all-day marathon on October 10, concluding with the new episode. Immediately following the debut of Degrassi, The N debuts the first of the final episodes of South of Nowhere. The hour-long series finale is on December 12 at 8:30p. After the series finale, The N will feature two different 2-3 minute 'flash forwards' about what happens to Ashley and Spencer. There is The Next Day, from series creator Tommy Lynch and then 5-Years Later, that was made up from a bunch of fans!! Now that's kind of cool.
If you're in the UK, this may interest you: the second season of The Sarah Jane Adventures, a spin-off of Doctor Who, kicks off with part 1 of the first episode tonight, Monday, September 29 on CBBC on BBC One. CBBC will air the second part right after, BBC One will wait till October 6. But I have to ask, when will BBC America get it???

Do you like Jon and Kate plus 8? A new show starts tonight on TLC called 17 Kids and Counting The Duggars from Arkansas have 17 children and one more on the way! It's on at 10, so maybe it's worth taping? Maybe not. It will probably be on all the time like What Not To Wear and well, Jon and Kate, Plus 8!
Did anyone watch Survivor: Gabon? I thought it was just ok. There are A LOT of unlikeable people on this season. In fact, so far I only like the Physics Teacher and the hot doctor. Oh and the retro pin-up girl, Sugar.
