OK, so Coach handbags for teenagers is kind of crazy, I mean, they are EXPENSIVE. They do last forever and ever, but still. Anyway, I still thought I'd report on this little thing they are doing this season. Several celebs picked their favorite bags and their favorite charities and 20% of the sale of that particular handbag will go to that particular charity. OK, I can get behind that idea, even if I still think you should not be asking for a Coach bag, especially in these economic times! Here is Mandy Moore at the party...

Her charity is Peace Games a group that empowers inner-city kids to change their schools and their lives.
Jessica Alba chose the YMC, Ryan Reynolds chose the Michael J Fox Foundation, Kerry Washington chose V-Day (which is a cool group that fights violence against women around the world) and Evangiline Lilly from Lost chose a group called Free Press that fights for first amendment rights. Other celebs include Ali Larter, Rosario Dawson and Elizabeth Banks.
