An American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong the DVD comes out today (and so do the books -- there are 3). The new movie is the first American Girl movie to focus on a modern girl doll, versus the previous movies that revolved around historic figures. In the movie Chrissa, a fourth grader, and her family move mid-school-year to a new town and school where she is immediately teased and bullied by a group of girls.
