What does that mean? Well today, and all day, folks are reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone at the New York offices of Scholastic books, Harry's publisher. It's in honor of the 10th anniversary and if you're a Potter fan but aren't anywhere near NYC, don't sweat. It's all being live-cast at Scholastic.com. There are celebs there reading as well as folks like you and me who arrived at the offices early enough to get in on the action. And that's the new cover for the anniversary edition, above.
And more Harry news! Even though they've postponed the release of the film version of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to July 2009, they have added 25 minutes of iMAX footage and so that means, if you have an iMAX theater near you (and I do, I do!) you can see it in 3-D!
One last piece of Harry news: The final Potter novel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has finally been given a paperback date but its still a ways away: July 7, 2009.
