This is Zac's first big role in an adult movie and so far, the reviews have been good.
Here is the low-down on the story:
It's 1937 NYC and the young aspiring actor Richard Samuels (Efron) is thrown into the middle of Orson Welles’ Theatre Company on the eve of the opening of the historic staging of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. Richard will find romance with a worldly older woman (played by Claire Danes) and learn the downside of crossing the brilliant Welles (Christian McKay).
